The Concept
Belts & Brews pairs a skilled leather artisan with a local microbrewery for a pop-up crafting experience. Guests sip a cold one while watching their custom belt take shape right in front of them — choosing the leather, the hardware, the stitching — and walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece that tells a story.
It's part live demonstration, part local commerce, and entirely an excuse to drink great beer while something beautiful gets made.
Every belt is measured, cut, and crafted on the spot. Customers choose the leather, buckle, width, and finish — no two are alike.
The backdrop is a real working microbrewery — taps flowing, the scent of hops in the air, and staff who know their craft as well as ours.
Both the brewer and the crafter are rooted in the community — this is about supporting small businesses and celebrating local makers.

The Experience
The microbrewery hosts the event — promoting it to regulars and curious new visitors. The crafter sets up a compact, photogenic leather-working station near the taproom floor.
Customers get measured, examine leather samples, hardware options, and color choices while holding a pint. They place their order and get a pick-up window for later that day or a future event.
Leather is cut, edges are beveled, holes are punched, and stitching is set — all visible to any curious onlooker. It's live craftsmanship as entertainment.
